Artist Bio

About Me & My Art I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I am mainly self-taught, but have done art exams and classes. When I was 16 my favourite medium was graphite pencil, and I did sell quite a few drawings then. I gave up for a while when I worked in the city, had children etc, but found myself drawn back to it. I would describe myself as detailed artist, my work is realist. My favourite subjects are animals: dogs, cats and wild animals, landscapes and cityscapes. My inspiration mainly comes from nature. I now use many mediums, but pastel and graphite pencil are my favouite. I also do pen and ink, and dabble in coloured pencil.
