I'm a fan of adventures and I like to go on them when I can, my idea of an adventure is participating in some fun one time event or exploring some cool new area/going to see a movie/trying something new I've never thought I would do (Like doing Tai Chi with Elderly Chinese Folks in track suits on Columbia campus). There is a lot to do out there in the world and I want to take part in some of it.

I'm not a big fan of drinking (I have tried alcohol thrice now and its gross) or drugs but I won't stop you or anything if you are.

what to say about me...hmm...well, I suppose with some of the basics. I'm 20 years old and recently moved to London, UK. I'm an art student studying jewellery.

Just kicking around in London, having fun and trying to enjoy myself. I enjoy getting out and meeting people or sitting at home and reading. I've just started cycling to work and am enjoying the wind though my hair and the self-preservation instinct that is now finely tuned.

I am a yank who is in the process of getting my visa and course stuff straightened out so I can make the move to London. I am going to be in London in September and probably at least once more before I move. I am Ivy League educated, but tend to not bring up the school I went to much because I don't really feel the need to pound my chest about. I am a major wise ass and try to find time to laugh. I have held some really stressful jobs in the past, so it has made work easier to tolerate. I grew up in Southern California not too far from Disneyland. Believe it or not, it's probably been 4 years since I've been.

As far as hobbies, I do play hockey. I have mostly been playing roller lately, but have played ice as well. I have been playing for 17 years actually. With school, work and having a social life it becomes difficult to fit in many hobbies outside of hockey, especially since I have played a lot of travel hockey since graduating from high school.

We have all heard horror stories about online dating, so I am trying to keep the realistic viewpoint on all of this, but if I had my choice I would like to meet someone I can enjoy life with and travel with. I grew up close to my mom's family, so someone who can handle me wanting to fly back to California once or twice a year would be a good thing too.

very cynical, but far more likely to think better of the common man than those who would lead. I'm raising my kids at the moment, while indulging in on argy of learning (pretty much anything I can lay my hands on - from video editing and programming to blacksmithing and horticulture - with an eclectic mix of philosophy, ancient history, modern history, psychology and sociology thrown in for good measure !)

I read very quickly, I retain an image of what I have read, rather than the exact wording - I describe books in my own words - with favourite quotes and character analyses. This usually means that I have to place a text book into some sort of conceptual image - and depending on the subject - I would re-write it from my own understanding of it. If that makes any sense. Personally, it's like trying to describe colour to a person born blind - impossible without that common frame of reference a sighted person has.

I also type faster than I write, which makes the computer the best place for me to jot down ideas ...

Hi! i love meeting new people when i have the time,working hard and playing harder im easy to get on with and very down to earth,my interests include,playing pool,golf,photography,music and horror films,i'm a bit new to all this so go easy on me lol.

I'm very intelligent and have a weird sense of humour, although people seem to like it. I love music (indie, rock, bits of jazz / classical / folk / dance), books (scifi, fantasy and modern fiction) and comedy (British TV and standup).

I've always been badly behaved and, although the pace is decreasing, I still drink too much, swear too much, get spannered, stay up too late, enjoy a spot of deviant sex and generally run round having a fine old time. I have a fairly girly side to counterbalance the party animal: I like fluffy animals, clothes shopping, flowers, chocolate and champagne.

I've travelled quite widely in SE Asia, a fair bit in Europe, I've lived briefly in the US and for a few years in Australia, which was fab. I'm pretty settled in London for now but I'm not sure what the future holds.

Anyway, ultimately I'm looking for my true love (erm, I think). But in the meantime I'm always happy to meet new people to play with and have some fun times.
